Scotland's leading regeneration specialist The Burrell Company are merging with Glasgow's renovation experts Classical House to form new property development operation Classical Burrell.
The Burrell Company is an innovative property development company based in Edinburgh and is dedicated to the quality regeneration of urban areas and historic sites. In operation since 1984, well known developments include the B-listed Schaw House in Glasgow, the modern Upper Strand on Edinburgh's Waterfront and the conversion of former Elmhill Hospital in Aberdeen.
Glasgow's Classical House Limited, specialises in the quality refurbishment and development of listed buildings. The company boasts an extensive history of impressive redevelopments ranging from the Dalzell House, Motherwell, Glasgow's Italian Centre and more recently Drumpelier Home Farm and Linn House in Glasgow.
With both companies having a combined 50 plus years experience in the property development arena, the merger of the two companies will allow them to capitalise on their key strengths, expertise and geographic spread in both the east and west of Scotland.

Classical Burrell will be part of the existing Burrell Group of companies which include partnerships with Edinburgh Council's development arm EDI under the BUREDI banner; Premier Property Group, the property arm of David Murray Holdings Ltd under Premier Burrell; Places for People, one of the UK's largest housing and community regeneration agencies, and Inpartnership trading throughout the north of England as Burrell Inpartnership.
Classical House's existing portfolio in the west will now be progressed through the new company Classical Burrell Ltd. The new partnership will see Classical Burrell continue and increase an already thriving portfolio of projects.
The current Classical House head office at Park Circus will become the home of Classical Burrell which will be supported by the company's existing staff. The new company will jointly operate as of 1 July 2007.
