Four lucky house hunters are in for a festive treat as Upper Strand Developments announce a cracker of a Christmas offer at its development at Waterfront, Edinburgh.
The offer, available for the month of November only, is designed to help first time buyers get onto the property ladder by reducing the price of the remaining four two-bedroom apartments within Block A by £25,000 each. Upper Strand Developments is an award winning joint venture between urban regeneration specialists, The Burrell Company, and Places for People. Prices of the four properties will now range from £162,500-£171,500.
Andrew Burrell, a Director of Upper Strand, said: "Reducing these four apartments by £25,000 each is our way of assisting house hunters who are having difficulties finding the right property at the right price and who are keen to find an affordable home in a great location, before Christmas."
Stunning views across the Firth of Forth and Fife, excellent local amenities, great outdoor areas, including a play park and large communal gardens, unique district heating and refuse systems, and sophisticated recycling facilities at Upper Strand, are just a few of the features set to appeal to new homeowners.
Located within easy reach of Edinburgh City Centre, Ocean Terminal and supplemented by a range of shopping facilities at Craigleith and Stockbridge, the development is also conveniently placed for the new Telford College, whilst a Morrison's supermarket is currently being built adjacent to the college. The development is part of the larger Waterfront Edinburgh Ltd's regeneration programme to transform the entire area into a vibrant urban community.
Colin Rae, a Director of Upper Strand Developments, added: "It is unusual for us to launch an offer like this, however as Christmas is one of the most expensive times of the year we thought it would be a nice early Christmas present for four lucky house hunters looking for the perfect home at an affordable price."
Upper Strand, involving two award winning architects, Edinburgh-based Reiach & Hall and Glasgow-based Elder & Cannon, has already been recognised as one of the best examples of housing design, layout and landscaping in the UK after being named Best Housing Project at the National Home Builder Design Awards.
More recently the development was a finalist at the ROSES Design awards on the 18th October. While the project lifted two awards at The Daily Mail UK Property Awards 2007, they picked up Best Architecture (Multiple Units) - Upper Strand, Granton Waterfront by Reiach and Hall Architects/Elder and Cannon Architects and Best Development Lothian's Upper Strand, Granton Waterfront by Upper Strand Developments.
Upper Strand Development was also nominated and shortlisted in the Property Executive Awards, in the residential category and in the 2007 Grand Designs Magazine Awards.
