After completing an HND in Accountancy whilst working with a Fife-based firm of chartered accountants, Craig, (25), from Dunfermline, spent three years with private bank Adam and Co before joining The Burrell Company.

In his new role, Craig will have the chance to develop his existing skills and specialise in the financial side of the property industry by providing support for the company‚s Finance Director. His work will involve managing the finances of major projects, including Upper Strand, a £70m project with The Places for People Group as part of Waterfront Edinburgh Ltd; Murray's Mill, a joint venture with Inpartnership which will see life breathed back into a 200-year-old textile mill complex in Manchester; as well as the regeneration of two former hospitals, Elmhill House and The City, in Aberdeen.

Craig said: "It is very exciting to be working with such an innovative and dynamic company. The Burrell Company has an excellent reputation within the property industry and I'm delighted to be part of the team.

„My role will vary greatly and enable me to get involved in lots of different projects, such as costing and managing the funding of some very complex and interesting developments."

The Burrell Company is also committed to Craig's development and will support him through his ongoing studies aimed at achieving professional accreditation in the near future.

Craig continued: "I'm really keen to progress and build my career with The Burrell Company and their support in my studies will help me achieve that goal."
