Since the mid 1980's Glasgow City Council Planning Department had identified the Park Area as one where the office use required to be decanted making way for the return of these buildings to their original residential use. The Company were one of the first to take a significant part of the accommodation and leading the way in establishing a level of residential value to make the investment worthwhile.
