The Company acquired and then successfully restored the premises having been instrumental in the establishment of a Trust to provide a new home for Scotland's best known musical instrument. At the time of acquisition the building was under threat of demolition. This enormously successful regeneration was financially assisted by a variety of public bodies, endorsing the vision taken by the Company.
